Texas High School Basketball - Slaton fells Panhandle
December 5, 2015: Panhandle, TX 79068 Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX), 66-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Slaton upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX) to play the Swifts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 8. The Swifts go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Nazareth won 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Sunray Bobcats (Sunray, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 8. Panhandle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 80-32 non-league win over White Deer (White Deer, TX).
