February 5, 2016: Alexandria, VA 22314 The Bishop Ireton Cardinals ran past the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions basketball team by a final score of 57-47 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 6. Bishop Ireton will attempt to move on its 6-19 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 10-9 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA).
