Carlisle (Martinsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 67-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Carlisle upgrades its record to 16-10 on the season. The travel to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to clash with the Barons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 27. The Barons go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Blue Ridge won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Charlottesville, VA)
