December 3, 2015: McKinney, TX 75070 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) and the visiting Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX), saw Boyd's basketball squad overcome Tyler by a tally of 74-59.
With the victory, Boyd improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Broncos host Plano West (Plano, TX) to play the Wolves in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, December 8. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Plano West lost 60-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Martin (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 4. Tyler will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Lindale (Lindale, TX).
