New Jersey High School Basketball - Allentown nipped by Eastside
January 30, 2016: Paterson, NJ 07501 The Eastside Ghosts tipped the visiting Allentown Redbirds basketball team by a final score of 49-45 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Ghosts face the Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ) in a non-league game, on Sunday, January 31. Eastside will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Highwaymen enter the game with a 13-3 record after their 82-50 non-league loss to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ).
With the defeat, Allentown moves to 8-7 on the year. The Redbirds host Ewing (Trenton, NJ) to confront the Blue Devils in a Colonial Valley - Patriot battle on Tuesday, February 2. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 11-3. Ewing lost 64-52 in their recent non-league battle against Camden (Camden, NJ)
