Minnesota High School Baseball - Le Sueur-Henderson can't hold off St. James
May 19, 2012: St. James, MN 56081 In Saturday's non-league game, the host St. James Saints baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants.
The Saints (9-11) will now prepare for their game against Bethlehem Academy/Discovery/Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf/Shattuck-St. Mary's (Faribault, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem Academy/Discovery/Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf/Shattuck-St. Mary's was nipped by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
The Giants now sport a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Waseca for a non-league contest on Monday, May 21. Le Sueur-Henderson will play a Bluejays squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-15.
