Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA) and the host American Eagles (Fremont, CA), saw Irvington's baseball squad knock off American by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Washington Huskies (Fremont, CA) in a Mission Valley battle, on Friday, May 11. Irvington will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 10-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Logan (Union City, CA).
