March 5, 2012: Buckeye, LA 71328 Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA), 18-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Buckeye upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Panthers host Block (Jonesville, LA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 13. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-5. Block lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Peabody (Alexandria, LA)
With the defeat, Pitkin falls to 0-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Glenmora (Glenmora, LA) to battle the Wildcats in a B District 6 test on Thursday, March 22. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-3.
