Pennsylvania High School Baseball - State College gets by Central Mountain

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) and the visiting Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), saw State College's baseball squad knock off Central Mountain by a count of 8-5.

Coming up next, the Little Lions play the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 11. State College will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Chucks enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 11-1 league loss to DuBois (DuBois, PA).

The Wildcats now possess a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bald Eagle Area for a Mountain battle on Saturday, May 12. Central Mountain will play a Bald Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Altoona (Altoona, PA). The Bald Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
