The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) and the host Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC), saw North Lenoir's volleyball squad beat Croatan by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, North Lenoir upgrades its record to 12-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 16-1. McMichael won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)

The Cougars now own a 13-1 record.
