Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Forbes Road overwhelmed by Chestnut Ridge
October 12, 2023: New Paris, PA 15554 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) and the visiting Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA), saw Chestnut Ridge's soccer squad triumph over Forbes Road by a margin of 7-2.
The Lions now sport a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Westmont Hilltop for a Laurel Highlands 1 test on Monday, October 16. Chestnut Ridge will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Forbes Road drops to 3-13 on the season. The host Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA) to meet the Thunder in a non-league test on Monday, October 16. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 10-5. Belleville Mennonite won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA)
