Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Middleton Tigers (Tampa, FL), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durant for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. Gaither will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Middleton falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Blake (Tampa, FL) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Blake lost 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Alonso (Tampa, FL)
