In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Selma Bears softball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Redwood Rangers.

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) in a Central Sequoia outing, on Tuesday, April 19. Selma will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 10-9 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Madera (Madera, CA).

The Rangers (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hanford (Hanford, CA). The Bullpups enter the West Yosemite outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Hanford was tipped by Clovis (Clovis, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
