Colorado High School Basketball - George Washington fells Overland
December 23, 2017: Aurora, CO 80012 George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), 90-79 in a non-league bout.
With the win, George Washington upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 10-1. ThunderRidge won 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO) in a 5A Centennial bout, on Thursday, January 4. Overland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Chaparral (Parker, CO).
