Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN), 65-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eden Valley-Watkins upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Eagles host Paynesville (Paynesville, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a Central Minnesota bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-15.

Next up, the Mainstreeters play the Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN) in a West Central bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Sauk Centre will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 77-62 non-league win over Albany (Albany, MN).
