Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Waynesboro holds off Boiling Springs
January 30, 2018: Waynesboro, PA 17268 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) and the visiting Boiling Springs Bubblers (Boiling Springs, PA), saw Waynesboro's basketball squad hold off Boiling Springs by a tally of 50-49.
With the victory, Waynesboro improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA) to confront the Blue Devils in a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Friday, February 2. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. Greencastle-Antrim won 59-58 in their recent league challenge against Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA)
Next up, the Bubblers confront the West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Boiling Springs will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 57-41 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, PA).
