In Friday's league match, the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings basketball squad scored a close 63-59 victory over the Conemaugh Township Indians.

With the victory, Blacklick Valley improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to United (Armagh, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. United lost 75-50 in their recent league challenge against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA)
