Washington High School Basketball - Prairie holds off Kamiakin
December 29, 2017: Kennewick, WA 99336 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Prairie Falcons (Brush Prairie, WA) and the host Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA), saw Prairie's basketball squad hold off Kamiakin by a tally of 55-49.
With the victory, Prairie improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Evergreen (Vancouver, WA) to confront the Plainsmen in a 3A Greater St. Helens challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Evergreen lost 97-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA)
Next up, the Braves confront the Hanford Falcons (Richland, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge, on Friday, January 5. Kamiakin will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 68-59 non-league win over Shadle Park (Spokane, WA).
