Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Taos upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. St. Pius X won 69-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)

Next up, the Sundevils confront the Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Sandia Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
