California High School Basketball - Tennyson tops Ygnacio Valley
January 3, 2018: Concord, CA 94518 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) and the host Ygnacio Valley Warriors (Concord, CA), saw Tennyson's basketball squad knock off Ygnacio Valley by a count of 68-55.
With the victory, Tennyson upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Lancers host Concord (Concord, CA) to play the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Concord lost 75-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Contra Costa Christian Cougars (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Ygnacio Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 4-6 record after their 65-42 league win over Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA).
