Washington, DC High School Basketball - Woodson nips Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering
January 12, 2018: Washington, DC 20019 Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), 67-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Woodson improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to School Without Walls (Washington, DC) to confront the Penguins in a DCIAA challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Penguins come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. School Without Walls lost 61-51 in their recent league challenge against Coolidge (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Dunbar Crimson Tide (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 57-50 league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
