Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA), saw Ponderosa's basketball squad knock off River City by a count of 85-65.

With the victory, Ponderosa upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Center (Antelope, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Center won 57-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Bear Creek (Stockton, CA)
