January 9, 2018: Milledgeville, GA 31061 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Georgia Military College Bulldogs (Milledgeville, GA) and the visiting Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA), saw Georgia Military College's basketball squad hold off Hancock Central by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, Georgia Military College improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Glascock County (Gibson, GA) to confront the Panthers in a A Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Glascock County lost 80-59 in their recent league challenge against Greene County (Greensboro, GA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA) in a A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Hancock Central will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 67-38 league win over Warren County (Warrenton, GA).
