Illinois High School Baseball - York gets by Waubonsie Valley
March 21, 2024: Aurora, IL 60504 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, York upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Dukes travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, March 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-1. Lincoln-Way Central won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)
With the defeat, Waubonsie Valley falls to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to battle the Olympians in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 0-0.
