Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Veritas Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ), 13-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Anthem Prep upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mayer (Mayer, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A West test on Tuesday, April 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-17. Mayer lost 11-7 in their recent non-league test against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ)
