Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Buckingham Charter Knights (Vacaville, CA), 10-9 in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Rams play the San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA) in a Sierra Delta League battle, on Thursday, April 25. Rio Vista will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-11 record after their 22-0 league loss to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA).
