The McConnellsburg Spartans crushed the visiting Shanksville Stonycreek Vikings baseball team by a tally of 11-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Huntingdon County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 2. McConnellsburg will face a Rockets team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Vikings face the Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Shanksville Stonycreek will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
