Texas High School Baseball - Nederland gets by West Fork
March 9, 2024: Kingwood, TX 77339 Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Fork Gators (Kingwood, TX), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Nederland upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-8. Barbers Hill won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Clear Creek (League City, TX)
With the defeat, West Fork falls to 3-13 on the season. The Gators travel to Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX) to battle the Hawks in a 4A Region III District 20 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 8-8. Hardin-Jefferson 5-5 in their recent non-league test against Jasper (Jasper, TX)
