Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Erie upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Boulder (Boulder, CO) to battle the Panthers in a 5A Front Range test on Tuesday, April 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-6. Boulder lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Grandview (Aurora, CO)

With the defeat, Northfield falls to 5-4 on the season. The Nighthawks host Lincoln (Denver, CO) to battle the Lancers in a 5A/4A Denver Prep test on Tuesday, April 9. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Lincoln won 10-2 in their recent league test against Denver West (Denver, CO)
