Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rowan County upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Scott (Covington, KY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-8. Scott lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)

With the defeat, Lafayette falls to 6-6 on the season. The Generals travel to Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 4-12.
