Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) and the host Empire Ravens (Tucson, AZ), saw Thatcher's baseball squad knock off Empire by a count of 4-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Thatcher will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 10-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).
