The Metro-East Lutheran Knights baseball team (Edwardsville, IL), was overwhelmed 19-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL)

The Griffins now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to GVCS Broadfording for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 21.

Next, the Knights confront the Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 21. Metro-East Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Comanches go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 23-3 non-league loss to Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL).
