Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), 13-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ennis upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, March 26. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 13-4. Corsicana won 8-3 in their recent league test against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX)

With the defeat, Lamar falls to 9-10 on the season. The Vikings host Sam Houston (Arlington, TX) to battle the Texans in a 6A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, March 26. The Texans come into the test with a record of 4-13. Sam Houston lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX)
