North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL), 23-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Sand Mountain upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Bison host Fyffe (Fyffe, AL) to battle the Red Devils in a 2A Area 15 test on Monday, April 1. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 10-6.

With the defeat, Columbia falls to 2-14 on the season. The Eagles travel to Albertville (Albertville, AL) to battle the Aggies in a non-league test on Friday, March 29.
