Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area falls to West Forsyth
January 7, 2023: Cumming, GA 30040 In Saturday's non-league match, the host West Forsyth Wolverines basketball team scored a good 59-44 triumph over the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 6 match, on Tuesday, January 10. West Forsyth will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 12-3 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA).
With the defeat, Monroe Area moves to 10-2 on the year. The Purple hurricanes travel to Hart County (Hartwell, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-7. Hart County lost 60-48 in their recent non-league match against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC)
