February 3, 2023: Springfield, MO 65803 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO) and the visiting Waynesville Tigers (Waynesville, MO), saw Hillcrest's basketball squad overcome Waynesville by a tally of 57-48.
With the victory, Hillcrest improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Camdenton (Camdenton, MO) to confront the Lakers in a Ozarks challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Camdenton lost 60-32 in their recent league challenge against Parkview (Springfield, MO)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Forsyth Panthers (Forsyth, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Waynesville will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, MO).
