Arete Prep CHARGERS (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arete Prep upgrades its record to 18-11 on the season. The CHARGERS travel to Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 19-7. Arizona Lutheran Academy won 92-14 in their recent league bout against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ)
