Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Vernon Patriots (Murray, UT), 59-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Patriots play the Rockwell Marshals (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
