Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX) and the host Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX), saw Alief Elsik's basketball squad hold off Medina Valley by a tally of 49-47.

With the victory, Alief Elsik improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Montgomery lost 43-38 in their recent non-league challenge against College Station (College Station, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Young Men's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Medina Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
