December 27, 2022: Macon, MS 39341 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) and the host Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS), saw Canton's basketball squad overcome Noxubee County by a tally of 43-29.
With the victory, Canton improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS) to confront the Titans in a 5A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Ridgeland lost 69-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Noxubee County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 61-37 non-league win over Shoals Christian (Florence, AL).
