New York High School Basketball - Benet Academy holds off Jefferson
December 19, 2022: Brooklyn, NY 11207 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) and the host Jefferson Orange Wave (Brooklyn, NY), saw Benet Academy's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 68-65.
With the victory, Benet Academy improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Pinnacle won 96-77 in their recent non-league challenge against Higley (Gilbert, AZ)
Next up, the Orange Wave confront the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 72-38 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL).
