October 11, 2014: Fall River, MA 02720 Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Somerville Highlanders (Somerville, MA), 48-40 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Durfee improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Brockton (Brockton, MA) to confront the Boxers in a Big Three test on Saturday, October 18. The Boxers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Brockton lost 34-14 in their recent non-league test against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA)
With the loss, Somerville drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Everett (Everett, MA) to confront the Crimson Tide in a Greater Boston test on Friday, October 17. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a record of 5-1. Everett won 40-0 in their recent league test against Medford (Medford, MA)
