Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), 57-27 in a league test.

With the triumph, Alhambra improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Washington (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Rams in a III Section VI test on Friday, September 26. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-4. Washington lost 48-14 in their recent league test against Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

With the loss, Shadow Mountain drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to confront the Buffaloes in a III Section VI test on Friday, September 26. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 4-0. Tempe won 48-24 in their recent league test against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ)
