September 12, 2014: Connellsville, PA 15425 The Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA) football overcame the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 21-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Foothills bout, on Friday, September 19. Connellsville will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-20 league win over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA).
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Tigers enter the WPIAL AAAA Foothills bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, McKeesport was toppled by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 28-0, in a league bout.
