October 3, 2014: Waterloo, IL 62298 In Friday's league game, the Jersey Panthers (Jerseyville, IL) football team tipped the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), by a final score of 23-21.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Triad (Troy, IL). The Knights come into the Mississippi Valley game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Triad was tipped by Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL), 39-27, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a Mississippi Valley game on Friday, October 10. Waterloo will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-28 league win over Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
