October 16, 2014: Carnegie, OK 73015 In Thursday's league game, the Hinton Comets (Hinton, OK) football team tipped the host Carnegie Wildcats (Carnegie, OK), by a final score of 19-14.
The Comets (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Tigers come into the A District 2 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Mangum was tipped by Hollis (Hollis, OK), 54-6, in a league game.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crossings Christian for a non-league game on Friday, October 24. Carnegie will battle a Knights team coming off a 48-28 league loss to Cashion (Cashion, OK). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
