North Carolina High School Football - Hillside nips Riverside
October 17, 2014: Durham, NC 27707 In Friday's league match, the host Hillside Hornets football squad scored a close 19-18 victory over the Riverside Pirates.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Northern Knights (Durham, NC) in a 4A PAC-6 match, on Friday, October 24. Hillside will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
The Pirates (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Jordan (Durham, NC). The Falcons enter the 4A PAC-6 match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Jordan held off Person (Roxboro, NC), 17-14, in a league match.
