The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX) and the visiting Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), observed Cuero's football squad thwart Giddings by a tally of 55-24.

The Gobblers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Yoakum for a 4A-2 Region IV District 15 contest on Friday, October 10. Cuero will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-17 non-league loss to La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
