October 17, 2014: Bridgeport, CT 06605 The crowd at Friday's league match between the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) and the host Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), witnessed St. Joseph's football squad crush Bassick by a margin of 45-0.
In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Saturday, October 25. St. Joseph will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 42-0 league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).
The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights enter the Fairfield County match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Stamford was crushed by McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 49-21, in a league match.
