January 24, 2023: Dillsburg, PA 17019 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) and the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), saw Northern York's basketball squad overcome Shippensburg by a tally of 48-36.
With the victory, Northern York improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. West Perry lost 50-34 in their recent league challenge against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA)
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge, on Friday, January 27. Shippensburg will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 62-50 league loss to Northern York (Dillsburg, PA).
